I don’t really think about them. They’re craptastic. Not as bad as some of the Skins parents (wow, that just shows how downright horrible some are, lol…) but not effective, attentive or mature parents at all. I’m going to be honest, Cassie is not a character I’ve really sat down and studied, so unfortunately I have no strong, or complicated, opinion regarding a lot of her stuff.

But I’m pretty sure that if her parents hadn’t been just self-centered, hippie assholes, she likely wouldn’t have been so messed up. She’s a product of circumstance, in many ways. (Tho perhaps not exclusively.)

Altho I’d disagree that he never showed a “dark side” to himself. If you mean “dark side” in terms of microwaving kittens and torturing babies, then no. But he did some pretty gross/despicable things that were beyond normal boundaries. I think “dark side” is a fairly subjective term when it really comes down to it.

And “just playing around with people’s feelings” can be devastating, btw, depending on the severity of it. It can cause long-term psychological damage too. Just because there were very little physical manifestations of Tony’s actions doesn’t mean they were harmless, or “just playing with feelings”.

I agree that he was narcissistic. (Did he have NPD? No. Did he have any form of ASPD? Also, no. imo anyway.)

I dunno. I’ve never really considered it as legit. I didn’t feel that Maxxie felt Tony was really his type. And I never thought Tony was legit sexually attracted to Maxxie for any reason other than to spice things up cos he was bored.

Plus, I really adored them as just friends in 2x01. They do have a strong affection and bond there, but I’d hesitate to ascribe any romantic/sexual quality to it.

I’m sorry I don’t have more to say on the topic; I’ve just not really thought much about it, tbh. I mean, I’m not against the idea, but I’d have to have someone break it down for me and lead me through how it would work. Like a good fanfic or something. Unfortunately the only fic I’ve ever seen with that pairing are pretty bad or just smut.
